NEW: Kindermusik Family Time!

Kindermusik Family Time (Birth-5 years old)

Family Time is a 10-week class that brings children of all ages together provides a dynamic and integrated learning experience for everyone. So we took favorite Kindermusik songs and activities like “Shake, Shake the Apple Tree” and “hammocking” and rolled them into a fun, family class where each child is welcomed and valued and family “together time” is celebrated and cherished.

Babies (birth-18 months)

This class for lap babies, crawlers, and walkers incorporates current research on early childhood development and provides for learning and connecting with other parents and babies through music and movement.

Toddlers (18 Months-3 years)

 Our Time encourages toddlers to uncover an engaging musical world, building confidence, self-control, and communications skills.

• Singing, imitating sounds, rhyming, and object identification foster language skills, 
• Creative movement to various musical “moods” develops a sense of balance, timing, and spatial awareness.
• Listening and turn-taking encourage blossoming social skills.

Preschool (3-5 years old)

Designed for active and imaginative children ages 3 to 5, Imagine That! classes encourage socialization. Singing enhances the preschooler’s vocal development as expressive language is emerging. Parent and child participate together in the last 15 minutes and receive home activities they can enjoy throughout the week.

Kindergarten/1^st Grade (5-7 years)

Designed for the young child eager for first experiences with musical symbols and instrument discovery but is not yet ready for formal lessons with an instrument. This is a pressure-free class developing a foundation by learning music concepts, language, notation and great composers. Parents attend the last 15 minutes of class.

Kindermusik for the Young Child is built for 4 15-week semesters. Each semester builds on the previous yet there is sufficient review for new students to be added each semester.
