What Is Music Club? Music club is a chance for children in grades 2-6 to spend a day learning and
experiencing music in a safe, loving environment, taught by professional musicians and music educators from the Twin Cities. Participants will get hands-on experiences and hear professionals perform.
With music having lost much funding in the public schools, we seek to provide children with musical
experiences. Our hope is that your child will come out of Music Club excited about music! We will not be doing sacred music in music club.
It is scientifically proven that children who receive musical experiences do better with math, critical thinking, and literacy!. Music making is an enriching experience for the mind and the spirit. At Music Club, children will be engaged with:
- Meaningful small group experiences (more individual attention).
- Hands-on time with instruments.
- A performance by the guest artist.
- Music literacy, music games.
- Professional, talented teachers.
